This Low Voltage Rescue and CPR short course is designed for qualified electricians to gain the skills necessary to carry out risk assessment and perform safe low voltage rescue and CPR in electrical hazardous situations.
Studying the Low Voltage Rescue and CPR at Holmesglen
The course provides practical training using LV panel rescue procedures and tools, and carrying out CPR in a simulated environment.
The course includes AS/NZS: 4836:2011- Safe Working on or Near Low Voltage Electrical Installations - Safe Work Practices (LV4836); valid for three years.
The program will include Safe Work Practices - Working on or near Low Voltage Electrical Installations (LV4836) and the nationally accredited units of competency below;
||Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
||Perform rescue from a live LV panel
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards

Qualification and recognition
Upon completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment and Industry Card for the following accredited units, Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001), and Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (UETTDRRF06B).
A Statement of Completion will also be awarded for Safe Work Practices - Working on or near Low Voltage Electrical Installations (LV4836).
Note: Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001), and Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (UETTDRRF06B) - valid for 12 months.
