This course is designed for electricians to gain the required skills to design and install stand-alone power systems (off-grid PV).Course duration
This course is delivered by a combination of online self-paced study and practical workshop sessions on campus.
This covers all the theoretical knowledge and assessment required for design and installation of SAPS. You will be provided with a course book, given access to our online learning area, and receive support from the course instructor. The online study requirements must be completed prior to attending the practical workshop sessions.
The workshops are delivered over six full days and include a review of the online coursework you have completed, to give you a thorough understanding of design and theoretical knowledge. The workshop covers all practical requirements and assessments for the course, including installation of off-grid PV systems. Attendance at the practical workshops is compulsory for the course.
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.

QUALIFICATION AND RECOGNITION
Completion of the course meets the Clean Energy Council UEE11 Accreditation pathway and will entitle licensed electricians to apply for Provisional Accreditation for Design and Install Stand-Alone Power Systems with the Clean Energy Council.
