This Grid Connect PV Systems - Design only course is training in battery storage design for electricians who hold CEC Install Grid Connect accreditation and seeking to gain CEC accreditation in Design Grid Connect.
Course structure
The course is delivered both online, with a 3-day on campus workshop.
Online study
The online component covers all the theoretical knowledge and assessment required for design of grid-connected PV systems. You will be provided with a course book, access to our online learning resources, and ongoing support with the course instructor.
Practical workshop
The workshops will include a review of online content to ensure you obtain a thorough understanding of all design and theoretical knowledge, and cover all the practical requirements and assessment for the course, including designing a Grid-Connected PV systems. Attendance at the practical workshops is compulsory.
ASSESSMENT
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
