Overview
This Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) UEE22011 offers secondary school students a chance to develop competencies for a work entry program. It provides grounding in safety, and basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology industry.

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.

Entry requirements
Applicants should be at least 16 years old and be studying VCE or VCAL at a Victorian Secondary School.
This course requires at least Year 10 mathematical knowledge, and is not recommended if you find mathematics at this level challenging.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
Note: During this course, you are required to provide overalls, work boots and clear safety classes.
