Course Overview
This course involves both practical and theoretical training in the installation and termination of coaxial cabling. It has been designed for trade workers and technical support people who are already working in the telecommunications industry, who need to update their skills to meet current regulatory requirements.

Course Structure
This course is delivered through a combination of theoretical and practical workshop demonstrations and hands on activities on campus.

Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this course, although it is recommended that students have Open Cabling Registration or complete the ACMA Open Registration Cabling course prior to attending.

Outcomes
Qualification & Recognition
After successfully completing this course, you will be eligible to receive a nationally endorsed statement of attainment.
